Set a date, a hard budget, and the guest-list size. Ask your child for the venue. Book the room or picnic site — Saturday late morning fills first.
Send invitations with start and end times, the address, parking notes, and an allergy ask. Digital RSVPs save the follow-up.
Lock food and cake. Confirm the venue’s outside-food rules (many allow cake only). Collect waivers if the park requires them in advance.
Confirm the headcount against the room cap — adults often count. Pack candles that the venue allows, and a backup indoor plan if you booked a park.
Arrive in the venue’s setup window (often 10–20 minutes, not an hour). You should not need a theme that takes longer than that to put up.
Before you pay
Happy Roamers lists facts from each venue’s public party page. We do not take a cut and we do not book the party. Always confirm times, prices and rules on the official link before you leave a deposit.
